To My Mother who is my HERO! :)

So i would like to share that i have just been on my mother's Blog. When life hands you cancer.... I want to paint a picture... So i am work (graveyard) and here i am crying with such gratitude in my heart. She is battling cancer and is such an amazing woman. My mother is loved by so many! Several people have just run the race for a cure 5k, and it was in honor of my mother. So i need to take a few minutes and compose myself because i am in tears....... (good thing it is the graveyard shift) LOL! : ) Mom, i just want to tell you i love you. I am so grateful to be blessed with such a strong family. I guess you could say i am blessed to have a family at all. To those of you who do not know, I was adopted. You have raised some of the most motivated, selfless, compassionate, intelligent people i know. Believe me i have looked and studied other families in my travels through out my life. I dont know another family that comes close to ours ( Dunford's & Wilson's). Thank you for sharing your unconditional love and way with everyone you know. I have not met a single person out there that has not been the better for knowing you. For those of you who don't know, For a stay at home mother, my mom was so busy making people's lives better. Helping where she knew it needed it the most. Mom you are so loved by many and i know we haven't see eye to eye on things. But i never once did not listen to you. I might not of liked what you had to say but in times of desperation and panic it's your voice i hear. Thank you for always being there for me. No matter what. I love you no matter what.

your daughter,

Heidi

Hey Heidi,

Great post! I loved reading how you feel about mom. She is a great lady and we are so lucky to have been raised by her.

My dear Heidi: I was so touched by your remarks and yes, it brought me to tears. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We all continue to learn in our education of life...and as we try to stay humble, we will be teacheable. It seems I'm taught that one almost on a daily basis.
How grateful I am for my husband, children and grandchildren...and as we learn from each other, we become better in all that we do. Our family is the most important thing in our lifes and I feel that we need to continue to love and nourish each other.
Thank you for being a part of our family. I love and admire you and pray for you each day.
May you continue to be happy in your daily life and as you make the choices that you so much desire.
Please write again. I love you. Mom
